Tenant Registration
ARRANGING YOUR MOVE OR DELIVERY:
Tenant Registration:
All new tenants must complete the registration form available on our website at Tenant Registration.
Notify Us in Advance:
Provide at least 7 business days' notice by emailing info@bbamanagement.com with your moving plans. Please include your preferred date and time.
Insurance Requirements:
If using a professional moving or delivery service, request a certificate of liability and worker’s compensation insurance from the company. Coverage must include $1 million per occurrence and $2 million in aggregate, along with General Liability and Workers Compensation. Send the certificate to info@bbamanagement.com 5 business days before your move. Ensure the certificate includes:
Certificate Holder: Unit owner's name, address/unit #, date, and time of move.
Additional Insured: BBA Management
Parking Permit:
If you need a moving vehicle, obtain a temporary moving parking permit. For details, visit Boston Moving Truck Permits. Note that online applications are available for moves planned 15 to 28 days in advance. For moves 3 to 28 days away, apply in person.
Common Area Security:
Ensure that common area doors are never left open or unattended. The building’s security is paramount, so use only a door stop to keep doors ajar and stay nearby to monitor access.
Trash, Recycling & Box Disposal:
Movers should take away as many empty boxes as possible. Remaining boxes must be broken down, flattened, and disposed off. Styrofoam packing peanuts, which are non-recyclable, must be sealed in a plastic bag and disposed of in the trash bins. Furniture and mattresses cannot be left in the dumpsters or at the building. Arrange for disposal through a junk removal service like 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Fines and additional dumping fees will be charged for any improperly disposed items.
Security and Safety
Ensure all exterior doors are securely closed.
Be vigilant and do not allow strangers into the building.
